CATSKILL DEMOCRATS
SURGE!!
Fresh off last year's November 2009 Election; a decisive victory where Forest
Cotten was re-elected as County Legislator, and Kevin Lennon won an
overwhelming victory in his first term as Catskill Town Councilman; Catskill Democrats will continue to
make history with unprecedented victories in County Legislative races on
Election Day!
As a result of Democratic victories over the last 6 years, Democrats control the
Village of Catskill, the majority of Town Supervisors, and several Town
governments in Greene County.
We will work with our elected Democratic officials on promoting an agenda of
reforming local government, cutting property taxes and protecting our
quality of life.
The Village of Catskill celebrated its 200th Anniversary in 2006. The last
time Democrats were in control of the Village was during the 150th Anniversary
in 1956.
With your support, Catskill can once again become a community of progress and
forward thinking, understanding the preservation and historic nature of the past while
embracing the positive changes of today and for a brighter future for all.
Returning to our roots by embracing the future!
